The idea behind ‘Our December’ is to bid farewell to a year most of the world would rather forget. Drug Couple have produced a lively, gritty track that combines emotional resonance with melodic, fuzzy hooks. We bounce between two vocals that work together in harmony and somehow still fit perfectly over the thickness of the track’s texture. The two-piece are a married couple and talented multi-instrumentalists and songwriters who have harnessed their own unique sound that brings in influences from the likes of Dinosaur Jr and Neil Young.
